Yes, it’s true! On this last Thursday of February, we are throwing it back to February 14th when the University Woman’s Club entertained friends and family for their Annual Valentine Fundraiser. All funds raised at this event helps to support our scholarship. Let’s take a sneak peek at some of the festivities, shall we?
Former President Dr. Barbara Day, current Vice President Ambassador Brenda Schoonover, and current President Patty Courtright add flare and fashion (and a dash of red!) to the evening. Their smiles are as warm and genuine as these three ladies.
The music was on point!
The food was as delicious as ever! Did you know that many of our board members and committee members bring their favorite homemade recipes? I won’t go into favorites, as it’s hard to choose just one, but I know for a fact that I have eaten VERY well at our UWC get-togethers. This proves what we all know…Food is our common ground, and a universal experience. Don’t someone in the room? Talk to them about the food, and you are sure to be fast friends by the end of it.
